KOEMAN SEEKS RESOLUTION

Southampton manager Ronald Koeman wants Morgan Scneiderlin's future resolved as soon as possible as the Frenchman continues to be linked with a move away from St Mary's.

According to Sky sources, Manchester United are still interested in bringing Schneiderlin to Old Trafford, despite reaching an agreement with Bayern Munich for midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger.

United reportedly had a £20million bid for the 25-year-old rejected two weeks ago, and Koeman has confirmed Southampton are yet to receive a revised bid.

But we understand United have made strengthening their midfield a priority this summer, and Louis van Gaal's side could return with an improved offer for the Schneiderlin.
